Surface Patterns

Surface pattern design refers to the art of creating decorative designs and patterns for a variety of surfaces, such as fabrics, wallpaper, home decor items, and other consumer goods.  One of the main reasons why surface pattern design is used is to add visual interest and appeal to products. The designs can be used to create a cohesive look for a brand or product line, or to make a product stand out in a crowded marketplace. 

 

In addition, surface pattern design can be used to convey a certain mood or style, such as a playful or elegant aesthetic.  There are many different types of surface pattern design, including geometric, floral, abstract, and more.   I create surface pattern designs by using a combination of both traditional and digital media to match with the chosen theme and aesthetic. ​
